SURF SCHOOL
The main objective of our surf school is to provide the best service, with quality of teaching based on strong communication skills and safety of our students.
We prefer small groups, trying to look at each student individually, understanding their capabilities and difficulties and thus adjusting the training accordingly.
We have a lot of different packages on offer, with qualified instructors, with or without accommodation.
The Head and Founder of the School is a local surfer, a reference in the area, with great professional experience and excellent scores in regional and national surfing competitions.
Our team of instructors is composed of certified local surfers that also have a lifeguard course.
The coast in our area has waves for any surfer and any surfing level, so depending on the sea conditions we always have a wide variety of options. (Arrifana Beach, Monte Clérigo, Amoreira)
In our classes it’s included a surfboard, wetsuit, transportation and proper insurance.
As a surf school our main focus is training people, either individuals, like tourists or local young people following their evolution as surfers and as people, or small groups, such as families, companies and much much more. Our classes are limited to a maximum of 8 students per instrutor, so that the lessons are given in a more secure and safe environment, and also allowing for a more direct and close contact with each student.
SURF CAMP
Our Surf Camp can accommodate 12 persons, it has 5 bedrooms, 2 double rooms with a shared bathroom, 2 en suite room and 1 sharedroom.
We are the perfect choice whether you are looking for an holiday or just a weekend to rest and relax in one of the most beautiful and unspoiled places in Portugal.
You will find a cosy atmosphere in communion with nature.
Is located in the heart of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, just a 2 minute drive from Ponta de Atalaia, an excellent viewpoint over the sea, and the site of rare archaeological ruins of a Fortress-Monastery of Muslim Warrior Monks, dating back to the XII century, named Ribat of Arrifana, unique in Portugal, and, the second in the Iberian Peninsula.
When you’re not surfing, Ponta da Atalaia has a circuit where you can walk by the sea, between rocks and cliffs, and enjoy the breathtaking
sunsets this region has to offer.
We are only a 5 minute drive from 3 of the best beaches in the area,
Arrifana, Monte Clérigo and Amoreira.
We also have a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook, an outdoor barbecue, a living room with fireplace and a Snooker table where you can play and relax that connects directly to the outdoor court yard, where you will find our pool and a lounge area, three couch swings where you can relax and also a terrace table where you can enjoy your meals by the pool.
