We had the best stay at Another Surf Camp during our 1-month travels through Portugal. Andreas, Gonçalo and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful. Together with the guests, it felt like family. We usually went surfing together, cooked together and hung out on the rooftop. The layout of the camp made it easy to meet people and make new friends. The rental was cheap and the equipment all new and of good quality. The beach and several surf spots are within walking distance! Baleal is perfect for advanced surfers as well as for beginners and you mostly have good waves due to many surf spots in the area. So, the little town consists of 80% surfers :)

During the night you have some bars at the beach that play good music and have a chilled atmosphere every night. We are looking forward to coming back. Thanks for everything!!

I recently got around to visit Another Surf Camp. Thought I'd share my experience on here.

Another Surf Camp is located in Baleal. The beach can be reached within a 5 minute walk. Close by you’ll find a supermarket that sells everything you could ask for. (There is even a coffee shop where you can eat the breakfast you just bought in the store.) You can get to the center of Peniche by car or taxi within 10 minutes.

Another Surf Camp is split up into several apartments. Every one includes a separate bathroom and its own kitchen with a big fridge. It offers the comfort and cleanliness that you’re used to from home. Andreas and Goncalo are two very friendly and kind hosts. They try to make you as comfortable as possible and are always happy to help you with your activities around the area. Goncalo is a very experienced surfer that knows how to share his knowledge. Through his tips and tricks I was able to really improve my skills in quite a short amount of time. What helped a lot was the amount of brand new equipment which included different types of surfboards (not only softboards for beginners but also high performance gear).

The beach (Lagide) was super easy to reach and offered waves for beginners and experienced surfers. It was very clean, had a shower and a few cafes and restaurants. Even if it’s fun to explore new places, I will definitely visit this place again. I fully recommend Another Surf Camp to anyone that likes to have a good time.
