SURF EMPORIUM has a brand new facility which was finished in 2015. Our facility has large dedicated changing rooms, with a dozen showers in total (6 for the ladies and 6 for the men).

Gary and his team have been giving surf lessons since 1989. They have taught more people surfing than any other surf school on the African continent.

Our students walk out of our shop and right onto the wide, sandy beach. Muizenberg's Surfers Corner is the best location in South Africa to learn surfing. We have a sandy bottom and waves that have just the right amount of power - not too little and not too much.

We teach all ages, from 5 years old to 71 years. You are never too old to learn the beauty of this sport.
