We had dinner at this restaurant recently and it was my first experience with a sushi buffet instead of being served at the table. The sushi was ok but not very special. The system with the plates is very confusing. You can grab a new plate every time and I don't get how the owner can keep an overview. We experienced this as well because he thought we were with one more person then we actually were. Repeatedly he came back to our table complaining and being very unfriendly. I will not come again and do not recommend this place.
The staff of this restaurant is not very friendly. The food itself was okay, but not the best.
When the owner turned out to be rude, he took away the pleasant moment with our friends.
Also the ambiance was not very 'cosy'. This to me is a very important aspect!
We had a dinner party with 9 people from our Surf Camp. For some reason the restaurant owner believed that a 10th person had ordered a drink and disappeared. For the complete dinner, the restaurant owner kept returning to the table and was arguing with the Portuguese owner of the surf camp. This really ruined the dinner for everyone.
The restaurant has the atmosphere of a company canteen. You pick your Sushi from a large buffet. The food itself was OK.
After our experience, I would recommend against "enjoying" this restaurant
