Since 1994 the Surfing Life Club has been teaching people to surf, sharing the surfing lifestyle. Our school is highly recognised and has pioneered methods of teaching used today in surf schools around the globe, we have been running one of the most successful and popular Surf Schools in Europe. We teach all levels of surfing in a fun and safe environment. Our school and instructors are certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation
Watermark Surf House is located in Esmoriz beach and was built in the early 50’s being one of the city’s oldest houses. It is a multidimensional space which is based on Surfing and its various aspects, from sports to music and art.
The Surfcamp is located just on the Maceda natural park and a few minutes from the wild and well-preserved uncrowded beaches. You can walk, ride a bicicle or take a lift on our van or 4x4. Is near the traditional fishing villages called Furadouro, Cortegaça and Esmoriz.
After a life devoted to surf, competing on a national and international level, a degree in Design and working, for a few years, in the best and most prestigious Surf Magazine in Portugal, Ricardo Costa decided to return to his birth place and open his own Surf School.
Only 5 min walking distance to the sand on the main beach of Areia Branca.
The Underdog Surf House welcomes a variety different guests each year. There is a mix of cultures and ahealthy social atmospherethat sparks agroup/family feel.
But, as not everybody wants to have a “new family” on their surf trip it´s OK cause this house has the dynamics that allows any and all guests to either interact with others guests or just enjoy their own space.
We are opening the doors to the WaveSisters surfcamp in Praia das Maçãs, Portugal, in March untill October for girls and women only.
